The bean from which we conjure our Baroni is an Ecuadorian rarity, being one of the few fine Robusta varieties offered as a specialty coffee. It is characterized by a minty aroma, notes of roasted nuts can be detected. Our Omniroast has a slight acidity and a heavy round body. Our omniroast is equally suitable as filter coffee or espresso.
A hummingbird endemic to the Andes of southern Ecuador that lives at high altitude in the southern part of Ecuador. Its plumage is mainly green with a purple throat, and the tail is blue above and greenish below. Its bill is short and straight. The female has gray or beige "scales" on the ventral region. It inhabits montane thickets and dwarf forest edges. Most sightings are in and around Cajas National Park. It is extremely endangered due to the disappearance of its habitat which makes it difficult to find enough nesting sites.
